Outreach/Visitation Ministry

Become involved in outreach! There are four visitation dates from which you may choose so you can also participate in one of the following small group Bible studies:

February 28 -- unchurched Upward families
March 21-- nation-wide "Find It Here" door-to-door gospel saturation
April 18 -- church-wide Bible Fellowship visitation of prospects, inactive and homebound members
May 2 -- church-wide Bible Fellowship visitation of prospects, inactive and homebound members

Marriage on the Rock
This class is for all those folks who think they do not need a marriage class. Yes, you. Because Satan wishes to destroy all marriages, we all need the lessons taught in this Bible-based marriage study. Video and discussion driven. Led by Doug and Sally Harding in Room 214. Materials cost: $10.

Surviving Financial Meltdown
In troubled economic circumstances, people are looking for practical help and a deeper spiritual perspective. Written in a non-threatening and easy-to-read format, Surviving Financial Meltdown provides a blueprint laid out by financial experts, Ron Blue and Jeremy White, of biblically-based financial principles to implement during both calm and crisis. Led by Glenn Ross in Room 212. Materials cost: $13.

Here and Now...There and Then

This women’s study of the book of Revelation by Beth Moore will be led by Marcy DuPlessis and Sheri Langley in Room 414. Materials cost: $5.

ManCode
Let’s face it. Much as we need it, men tend to avoid building true friendships with other men. Let The ManCode be your wake up call. Following Dennis Swanberg’s simple yet profound principles can help you find the motivation to develop genuine relationships and make a difference to those around you. Led by Greg Smith and Andy Hayes in Room 411. Materials cost: $15 includes two books.

A Future with Hope
This nine-week workshop is for anyone experiencing the loss of a relationship through separation, divorce, or major breakup. With the support of others, a willingness to learn and grow, a sense of humor, and God’s help, you can discover…a future with hope! If there is enough interest, separate groups will meet for men and women. Led by Debbie Skaggs in Room 217. Materials cost: $12.

SLM --- Student Life Ministries (grades 7-12)
SLM Sunday Nights meets every Sunday night from 5:00 to 7:00 in thePLEX (student ministry floor). These gatherings are for both middle school and high school students. Any given Sunday evening will involve time spent together hanging out in the café or rec room, worship and teaching. The purpose of SLM Sunday Nights is to develop meaningful relationships with our students while discovering God’s Word together.

Performing Arts Ministry (preschool & elementary age)
Preschool and elementary-age children meet separately for Performing Arts Ministry and fun discipleship lessons. Both groups will begin preparation for the upcoming Giant Egg Hunt program, while learning along the way how Jesus wants us to live!

Child Care
Quality child care for birth through age two is available. Sign in at the preschool reception desk.

 

Wednesdays, 6:00 - 7:00 PM

AWANA

Awana is a dynamic scripture memorization program for children age three through sixth grade. (If you have younger children, child care is available for birth through two years. Check in at Preschool Reception) Sign in begins at 5:45 p.m. Children age 3 through Kindergarten check in at Preschool Reception, and grades 1-6 check in at the multi-purpose room (gym). Pick up is at 7:15 p.m. for all children.

Student Discipleship

Students in grades 7-12 are invited downstairs for small and large group discipleship.

Pastor's Bible Study

Bring your Bible, a pencil or pen and gather in the Atrium for Bible study with Pastor Bill.

Military Wives' Group

This group meets for prayer, fellowship and Bible study in Room 424 as they encourage one another in their unique walks of life.

Divorce Support

This group provides a place to discuss divorce-related issues and to gain insight from others' experiences. The needs of the group determine the topics discussed. Meets in Room 421.
